DISCUSSIONE E CONCLUSIONI
Spesso le tecniche classiche di espansione ossea che prevedono l’utilizzo del martelletto possono essere traumatiche per il paziente: la forza che si
esercita sul martello stesso infatti risulta essere un fattore estremamente soggettivo ed operatore-dipendente. L’espansione ossea controllata mediante l’utilizzo del D.B.E. System si è rivelata semplice e affidabile, ben tollerata dai pazienti e con risultati clinici sovrapponibili a quelli ottenuti con tecniche classiche.
