Three neck morphologies for different clinical needs

Download
The CSR implant is designed by Sweden & Martina in collaboration with the Department of Dentistry of the Istituto Scientifico Universitario San Raffaele in Milan (Italy). The idea was to develop an implant suitable for any clinical situation, guaranteeing good primary stability in any type of bone and performing the surgical phase with few instruments. Cylindrical body, full treated ZirTi surface, double conical connection interface, different neck morphologies and the possibility of using the One Abutment- One Time technique make the CSR an extremely versatile implant.
CSR RF SL is the full treated root form version with wide thread of the CSR DAT system, with which it shares the connection. Due to its pure taper, the implant turns out particularly recommended for insertion in the maxilla; in jaw bone or in any case poorly mineralized, in fact, the RF implant succeeds thanks to its morphology to obtain maximum stability.
The spire of the CSR RF SL implant has a triangular profile, its thread has a pitch of 1.50 mm and a depth of 0.40 mm.

Reduced Neck CSR implants are characterized by a convergent neck that leaves more space at the crestal level.
Reduced Neck CSR implants are available in 4.20 and 5.00 mm diameters, and they have a cylindrical morphology that narrows in the coronal portion: the 4.20 mm diameter narrows to 3.80 mm, while the 5.00 mm narrows to 4.20 mm. Reduced Neck CSR implants can be placed both in the distal sectors and in the frontal sectors of the maxilla.

Straight neck CSR implants have a straight morphology, constant along the implant body. The Straight Neck CSR implants are available in 3.00, 3.50 and 3.80 mm diameters and they are designed to be used in case of limited prosthetic space in the frontal sectors and in case of thin crests.

Wide Neck CSR implants, thanks to the divergent neck, offer the possibility to exploit the bicortical engagement to obtain a great primary stability. Wide Neck CSR implants, available in 3.80 and 4.20 mm diameters, present a cylindrical core that widen at a coronal level respectively to 4.20 and 4.50 mm.

CSR implants present full treated ZirTi surface, sandblasted with zirconium oxide and etched with mineral acids.

The DAT (Double Action Tight) connection of the CSR implants is characterized by a double internal conical interface: between the implant and the post, and between the post and the screw. As confirmed by literature, the double conical interface allows an excellent impermeability to bacterial attack, protecting the bone from risks of peri-implant infections that could affect a correct osseointegration and the consequent implant survival.
To simplify the operation, prosthetic components have been made that use connection screws, with the support at 120 °, which they are indicated with the name Q120.

Important warning
It is recommended not to use the standard connection screw with 120° support with the standard prosthetics components CSR-DAT, that require the conical screw. The correct screws are always included in the packages.

Narrow implants with 3.00 and 3.50 mm diameters present DAT-N connection, that is the DAT connection but in narrow version. It exploits the same benefits of the double conical interface, maintaining a safety thickness that avoids any risk of unscrewing and disconnection.

Three kits are available for the insertion of the CSR implants: a kit for the insertion of cylindrical CSR implants, which offers simplicity and immediacy, a kit dedicated to CSR RF SL wide spire shape root implants, and a kit combined with all the surgical and prosthetic instruments necessary for insertion and rehabilitation of both cylindrical and conical CSR implants.
