Immediate placement and temporisation using PRAMA ImplantsWith careful patient selection and treatment planning, immediate implant placement and/or immediate restoration can show excellent results in providing reconstruction of the dentoalveolar complex in a one-stage approach. These protocols benefit patients by reducing surgical procedures and healing period, decreasing the time toothless, increasing patient acceptance of dental rehabilitation following tooth extraction as well as providing improved aesthetic outcomes.
From a biological standpoint, the convergent hyperbolic neck and the use a slow-resorbing material to fill the jumping gap enables predictably preserved bone volume. The provisional crown and the UTM neck surface support the gingival architecture helping in maintaining the original margin and mesial and distal papillae. From a prosthetic perspective, placing an implant retained provisional crown on the day of surgery simplifies the temporization in the frontal area, allowing the patient to leave the office on the same day with a fixed provisional.
This webinar will analyse the key factors for treatment success (such as proper indications, atraumatic extraction, drilling protocols, primary stability and implant design) for what has become a state-of-the art procedure for implant clinicians.
